We had the pleasure of being a part of a handful of weddings last year. There was something so incredibly magical about these intimate weddings. Was it seeing close family and friends finally gather after so many months? Was it seeing the smiles on our couples’ faces knowing they got off what seemed like an endless emotional rollercoaster? Was it the speeches where a single word was not ignored or taken for granted? Was it the couples’ first dance and the twinkle in their guests’ eyes as they watched two souls finally have their wedding? These moments not only gave us chills then as we experienced them too, but are giving us chills as we type our feelings at this very moment.
With these handful of weddings we were able to plan and coordinate very quickly for our clients, we also had the pleasure of working with some fabulous outdoor wedding venues in and around Toronto. As we’ve seen Ontario’s reopening framework, we know that larger guest counts are permitted if you are able to host your wedding outdoors since it’s safer. With that said, keep scrolling as we list the outdoor wedding venues we worked with last year. Not only can they accommodate outdoor weddings, their event management teams are there to serve you in the best way possible because like all of your wedding vendors, they want nothing else but to see you get married.
Before you scroll down, we do want to caution that you may need to be open to a weekday wedding. As you can imagine, with the number of postponements from 2020 and weddings taking place in 2021, prime dates and weekend dates in general will likely be scarce. Nonetheless, always contact the venue of your liking to understand what their availability looks like for this year as things are constantly changing.
The Arlington Estate
Located in Vaughan, The Arlington Estate has a gorgeous outdoor space that can accommodate your wedding. They also have great options for rain plans for inclement weather that are as elegant as their outdoors.
Belcroft Estate & Event Centre
Nestled in Simcoe County, Belcroft Estate brings forth a romantic, country charm. The property has various scenic backdrops for your wedding ceremony along with a rustic Century Barn and elegant Marquee Tent to celebrate your reception.
Evergreen Brick Works
Located just outside the heart of downtown Toronto in the beautiful Don Valley, Evergreen Brick Works is an industrial site that is also an eco-focused facility. With both indoor and outdoor options, this historic site in Toronto offers a great option for intimate weddings.
Kortright Event Space
Kortright Event Space, a wedding venue located in Vaughan, offers 800 acres of pristine woodlands. The venue has both indoor and outdoor options for an intimate affair and truly gives off forest vibes!
Willow Springs Winery
Are you a wine connoisseur? If so, you should definitely consider Willow Springs Winery as your wedding venue. Located in Whitchurch-Stouffville in York region, the property has a great space for outdoor weddings along with an indoor option.
